III - The New Advanced High-End 3D Scanner From GOM |
| The
ATOS III is the high-end digitizer for demanding applications.
Its high performance, enormous detail resolution and broad
selection of additional measuring areas allow for an efficient
and precise reporting in quality control and an optimized
data gathering time in design applications. |
 |
| The
ATOS III uses the proven two camera technology developed
by GOM and delivers 4 million data points in each measurement.
The special type of lenses and the high performance projection
system ensure a very dense and highly accurate point cloud
with minimum data noise even under harsh environmental conditions.
The
ATOS III allows easy automation and fast digitizing for
demanding industrial applications. Few measurements capture
even complex objects with the required accuracy and detailed
resolution. |
Applications
- Fast collecting
object surface data for modeling with a computer, e.g. CAD, FEM
analysis, etc.
- Comparison
of actual with CAD data, drawings or specimen
- Fast replication
of components (rapid prototyping or milling)
- Digital Mock
Up (DMU)
Features
- Fast measuring
of small and complex object features even on large objects
- Very small
and adjustable residual noise of the measuring points
- Measurement
of objects difficult to reach (e.g. car interiors) thanks to the
high resolution cameras, the ultimate projection technology and
the compact design
- Robust against
environmental influences like ambient light changes
- Easy handling
due to its light weight and compact dimensions
- Due to the
sturdy system design no recalibration is required
- Improved
digitizing of shiny component surfaces
- Quick adaptation
to different measuring volumes
- Various different
measuring volumes as standard settings ( 60x60x60 up to 2000x2000x2000 mmž
per view)
- Two built-in
laser pointers allow easy and fast sensor positioning

Remote
Control
The remote
control for the ATOS III system allows an efficient one man
digitizing even of large objects.
All controls
are transferred onto a light handheld device, giving a constant
feedback about the measuring progress. A complete object can
thus be measured time efficiently by one operator. |

Rotation
Table
This medium
size rotation table is recommended in combination with the
ATOS digitizing systems mounted on a flexible stand, to digitize
parts up to 150 kg centered load or up to 40 kg excenter load
in an efficient semi-automated process.
Digitizing
and Quality Control of the gathered data can thus easily be
automated using the combined ATOS and rotation table system. |
